Cinnamon kisses
If you haven’t liked kisses so far because they’re so sweet they’re almost cloying, here’s a chance to enjoy their crispy, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Today I’ll show you how to make keto kisses. And since variety fuels inspiration, I’ll share a basic recipe for cinnamon kisses, followed by ideas on how to make a few other varieties. For best results, it’s best to make these on a dry day; if the air is too humid, the egg whites might not whip properly. To make chocolate meringues: The recipe is the same as the first one, but instead of cinnamon, add the cocoa and mix until smooth. Then gently fold in the grated chocolate with a spatula so that it’s evenly distributed throughout the mixture. Shape the cookies and bake at 135 degrees for one hour. Walnut meringues: Follow the previous recipes, but instead of cinnamon or cocoa, add the vanilla, then carefully fold in the ground walnuts with a spatula. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag, or use a piping tip or spoon to shape the meringues.
